What is pirates baseball chicago?

The Pirates baseball team played in Chicago from 1890 to 1891, as part of the short-lived Players' League. The team was formed by the Pittsburgh Pirates' former star player, Lou Bierbauer, who acted as both player and manager. The team had a roster of talented players, including pitcher Silver King and outfielder Ed Swartwood, and played in a newly built ballpark called Brotherhood Park. However, the team struggled to draw fans and ultimately fell apart when the Players' League disbanded after just one season. Today, there is no professional baseball team in Chicago known as the Pirates.
